SHIPPING POLICY
Last Updated: 07/06/2026
1. Overview
Paws and Co. ("we", "our", "us") ships orders throughout South Africa using Aramex and other approved courier partners where necessary.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy.
2. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to physical addresses within South Africa.
Unfortunately, we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
Certain remote or outlying areas may experience longer delivery times.
3. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully received and verified.
Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
During periods of high demand, promotional events, or holiday seasons, processing times may be extended.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery time is 8–11 business days from the date of dispatch.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on:
- Courier operations;
- Delivery location;
- Weather conditions;
- Public holidays;
- High shipping volumes;
- Strikes or labour disruptions;
- Road closures;
- Force majeure events; and
- Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5. Courier Partner
We primarily use Aramex for deliveries.
Once an order has been handed over to the courier, delivery is managed by the courier network.
Tracking information will be provided where available.
6. Delivery Delays
While we strive to meet all estimated delivery timeframes, delays may occasionally occur.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Delivery dates are estimates only;
- We do not guarantee delivery by a specific date or time;
- We shall not be liable for delays caused by courier services, weather events, strikes, civil unrest, natural disasters, power outages, system failures, governmental actions, or any other events beyond our reasonable control;
- Delays do not automatically entitle customers to a refund, credit, compensation, or cancellation of an order.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights that consumers may have under applicable South African law.
7. Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.
If an order is delayed, returned, lost, or undeliverable due to incorrect information supplied by the customer, any additional shipping costs incurred may be charged to the customer.
We are not responsible for delays arising from inaccurate delivery details.
8. Failed Delivery Attempts
If delivery cannot be completed due to customer unavailability, refusal to accept delivery, inaccessible premises, or incorrect delivery information, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the parcel to us.
Any additional delivery charges incurred may be payable by the customer.
9. Risk and Ownership
Ownership of products passes to the customer once full payment has been received.
Risk in the products passes to the customer upon delivery to the delivery address provided during checkout.
10. Lost or Missing Parcels
If you believe your parcel has been lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
We will investigate the matter with the courier and provide updates as they become available.
Claims relating to lost parcels may require a reasonable investigation period before replacement or refund options can be considered.
11. Damaged Deliveries
Customers should inspect parcels upon delivery.
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged:
- Take photographs immediately;
- Retain all packaging materials;
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Failure to report damage promptly may affect our ability to process a claim with the courier.
12. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Shipping fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where a refund is approved due to our error.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters;
- Floods;
- Fires;
- Pandemics;
- Strikes;
- Civil unrest;
- Government actions;
- Power outages;
- Telecommunications failures; or
- Courier network disruptions.
