Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from The Home Hack. Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, please notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing thehomehack@gmail.com with your order number, full name, reason for return, and photos of the item.
Change of Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery. The product must be unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Products That Cannot Be Returned
We do not accept returns for: assembled, installed, altered, or modified products; items damaged through misuse, negligence, or abuse; clearance or final-sale items; custom-made products; consumable products once opened; items with missing packaging; or unapproved returns.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days.
Delivery Damage
If your order arrives damaged, please note the damage with the courier, take photos, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

Shipping Policy
The Home Hack ships throughout South Africa via Aramex and other approved courier partners.
Delivery Areas
We deliver across South Africa only. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Remote or outlying areas may experience longer delivery times.
Processing & Delivery Times
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Delivery typically takes 8–11 business days from dispatch. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, strikes, weather, etc.).
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are displayed at checkout and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Additional shipping costs may apply if an order is delayed, returned, or lost due to incorrect information provided.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
For lost parcels, contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. For damaged deliveries, take photos, retain all packaging, and notify us within 48 hours.
